The absolute highlight of Joseph Arthur’s return to Seattle last night? New songs galore, including the pointed, gorgeous “Pledge of Allegiance” that he debuted live earlier in the day at KEXP. Don’t get me wrong, I love any opportunity to see Joseph live, but hearing new songs being worked out early in their live existence is always inspiring.
