While I do believe that the stack of CDs pictured above are gone, I do have a few tickets left for tomorrow night’s Everest show here at the Tractor. **Update: All gone — sorry folks!

I’ve always believed that there’s a special circle of Hell for those who steal a touring band’s gear.

Word has just come in that some mental midgets in Canada have boosted all of The Stooges gear, including — yup, you guessed it — all of Mike Watt’s cabinets and his beloved, legendary bass.

That bass is the Lucille of the punk world. Give it back, fuckers.

I do believe this theft seals the deal for these lower life forms, who have now earned themselves their own subdivision (double secret hellish) in the land down below.

Here are the specifics of what’s gone: please pass this along quickly to anywhere a wider audience might see it.

EQUIPMENT STOLEN ON AUGUST 4, 2008
OUTSIDE THE EMBASSY SUITES HOTEL
208 SAINT ANTOINE OUEST,
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA

all equipment was in a rented penske 15 foot yellow truck
with u.s.

(michigan) license plate number AC46493
parked immediately outside the hotel, the theft had
to have happened in the morning, between 6:30 and
7:30 am – truck and all gear stolen
