Moonglow

The full moon rising over downtown Seattle, a few hours ago.

I just got home, and found that it’s almost like daylight here at the beach at 11pm.

Hazlewood Turns 2!

What: Hazlewood’s Second Birthday
When: Thursday, October 18th, 2007, dusk onward
Where: If you don’t know, well, heck, I don’t want to know ya.

My favorite watering hole is two years old!

**cue sentimental, misty water-colored music**

I remember when it was only but a wee bairn, toddling its way onto Market.

Now it’s a cozy, elegant secret spot, making people walk funny with its wily ways, with the nicest people in the whole damned world working there.

>>sniffle<<

Ahhh, memories…

The happiest of birthdays to you, Hazlewood. Here’s to many, many more.

Happy birthday, Mr. Lennon

Imagine Peace official site

Yoko and Ringo are lighting the Peace Tower in Reykjavik as I type…the biggest birthday candle in the world, really.

On your birthday, I wish for more peace every moment. Why is peace so damned hard for us to grasp?

You feel it, or you don’t.

Most of my friends think I’m crazy, loving Joshua Tree the way I do. I say most, because a few souls out there just get it. This post is for you. And it’s for those of you who don’t quite understand, either. Maybe what Robert Egger has to say will help make it a bit more clear…
