Yes, it’s happening: Mario Kart for Wii! It will come complete with its own new controller, the Wii Wheel.

I know a few bands on the road right now who will be very happy to try this out, if Nintendo needs any help at all in testing. And I see painful Wii Wheel related injuries ahead, both for players and their televisions, pets, houseplants, etc. Drinking and “driving” could equal an emergency room visit, if past play just using the original Wii remotes is any indication.
